James Hopes and Brad Haddin have left their roles as bowling and fielding coach of Punjab Kings respectively.
Both Hopes and Haddin are coaches in Australian domestic cricket. Hopes has taken on the role of Queensland and Brisbane Heat head coach, while Haddin will serve as New South Wales’ head coach.
Their departure means that PBKS has now lost three members of its support staff from the 2026 season, after Sairaj Bahutule left to become spin-bowling coach with the Indian men’s team.

Haddin joined PBKS in 2022 as part of Trevor Bayliss’ backroom staff, while Hopes joined head coach Ricky Ponting in moving from Delhi Capitals in 2025.
