    William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Thursday’s UEFA Champions League Qualification game between Celtic and LASK.

    Our Prediction: Kasper Hogh To Score Anytime (23/20), Celtic 3-1 LASK (11/1)

    Celtic Park will be rocking on Wednesday night as the Hoops look to take a major step towards this season’s UEFA Champions League league phase, with Austrian champions LASK making the trip to Glasgow in what promises to be a fiercely competitive first leg.

    Now, let’s take a closer look at some Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

    Celtic v LASK – Wednesday, 8pm

    View all available markets at William Hill

    • Celtic missed out on Champions League football last season after a shock penalty shootout defeat to Kairat, and they’ll be determined to take a strong advantage to Austria next week to avoid a repeat of that disappointment.
    • Martin O’Neill’s side have started the new campaign perfectly: back‑to‑back league wins followed by a 4-0 cup victory over Dundee United on Saturday, extending their unbeaten run in competitive matches to twelve.
    • However, the Hoops can’t afford to get ahead of themselves. They’ve won just one of their last eight Champions League qualifiers (D3, L4) and only one of their last five such games at home. Even so, Celtic are 4/7 with William Hill to improve that record on Wednesday and put themselves in a commanding position in the tie.

    • LASK have never reached the Champions League group stage and will need a clear step up in European performances if they’re to change that this season. Their last continental campaign came in 2024/25, where they failed to win any of their six Europa Conference League matches, highlighting the scale of improvement required.
    • The Austrian champions have at least started their domestic season impressively, with one cup win and three league victories while conceding just a single goal — form that will give them confidence heading into their trip to Glasgow.
    • Recent qualifiers suggest goals could be on the cards, with three of LASK’s last four Champions League ties seeing both teams score. William Hill price the visitors at 4/1 to upset Celtic Park and take a valuable first‑leg lead back to Linz.

    1. Place a Qualifying Acca (football accas of 4+ selections (min odds 1/5) from Qualifying Markets) in any William Hill shop via the Sports Betting Terminals or over the counter on the Smart Hub SSBT or online via the William Hill Website or App(s);
    2. If the bet wins, an Acca Boost will be added to your bet returns.
    3. The % of your win back as an Acca Boost will be determined by the number of selections in your Qualifying Acca (see full terms for breakdown of Acca Boost available).

    Significant Conditions

    1. The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
    2. This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
    3. To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
    4. A “Qualifying Acca” is:
      1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
      2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
      3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
      4. On the Promotion Markets.
    5. The “Promotion Markets” are:
      1. 90 Minutes;
      2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
      3. Both Teams To Score;

      12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
    8. The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
    9. The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
      1. For retail customers: £2,000
      2. For online customers: £10,000.
    10. There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
    11. In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
    12. In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
    13. Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
    14. Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
