    William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash between FC Porto and Manchester City.

    Our Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Man City To Win (23/10), FC Porto 2-3 Manchester City (18/1)

    The Estádio do Dragão is the venue for this one as FC Porto welcome Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.

    Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League odds and betting angles for Tuesday’s fixture:

    FC Porto v Manchester City – Tuesday, 8pm

    View all available markets at William Hill

    • FC Porto return to the Champions League for the first time since reaching the Round of 16 in 2023/24, and the 2003/04 winners face a stern test on Matchday One with the visit of Manchester City.
    • Porto have won just two of their last sixteen games against English opposition in major European competitions (D4, L10), and they remain winless from four previous meetings with Manchester City (D1, L3), though that draw did come in their last home encounter.
    • Starting their UCL campaign at the Estádio do Dragão could work in Porto’s favour. They’ve lost only one of their last fourteen UEFA home matches (W10, D3), making this a notoriously difficult venue for visiting sides. William Hill price the hosts at 17/5 to claim a statement victory.

    • Manchester City travel to Portugal on Tuesday for their 150th European Cup match, and while they’ve begun the domestic season with a perfect record, losing six of their last nine Champions League away games (W2, D1) will be a concern for Enzo Maresca.
    • After going 26 matches unbeaten in the Champions League between September 2022 and October 2024, City have now lost nine of their last seventeen, and improving that recent European form will be high on Maresca’s agenda.
    • History does suggest City may avoid defeat here, though, they’ve won their opening UCL match in six of their last seven campaigns (D1), with their last Matchday One loss coming back in 2018, William Hill make City the slight odds‑on favourites at 3/4 to start their European season with a win.

    2. If the bet wins, an Acca Boost will be added to your bet returns.
    3. The % of your win back as an Acca Boost will be determined by the number of selections in your Qualifying Acca (see full terms for breakdown of Acca Boost available).

    Significant Conditions

    1. The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
    2. This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
    3. To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
    4. A “Qualifying Acca” is:
      1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
      2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
      3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
      4. On the Promotion Markets.

      11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
      12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
    8. The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
    9. The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
      1. For retail customers: £2,000
      2. For online customers: £10,000.
    10. There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
    11. In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
    12. In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
    13. Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
    14. Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
    15. Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
