Hola a todxs and welcome to the honor club! This week we had a couple of proving ground matches involving the most dominant ROH champions, as the ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo took on ’wrestling’s  favorite witch, Isla Dawn.

While the ROH Women’s World Champion Athena took on rival, Hyan. If the challengers win the match or last longer than ten minutes, they will prove themselves and  will get a future title match. Will they succeed?

But before we get to that, there was one stop with Queen Aminata and Lacey Lane facing one on one for the first time.

Both (at times underrated) proved why they belong in the ring giving us a ruthless and effortless bout. At the end Aminata took Lacey’s head off winning the encounter. Post match both shook hands honoring the code of honor, sealing their respect with a kiss.

Disappointed in herself Isla Dawn was seen backstage moments before her match, letting us know it was her turn under the sun and will do anything it takes to prove to herself and everyone that this is her time!

The Pure Champion and the Challenger shook hands and with ten minutes on the clock started this pure rules proving ground match.

Isla brought it to the champion, feeling her desperation and anger with every lock and every strike. Dawn took control in a big chunk of the match, when a window of opportunity opened Purrazzo used it and like a predator she attacked her prey arm and with only two minutes on the clock tapping Isla Dawn out with the Fujiwara armbar.

Deonna continued her winning streak in the proving ground, and as pure rules champion. She talked about how she thrives under pressure with her flawless technique and unmatched work ethic doing it the Purrazzo way!

Backstage Lacey Lane and Queen Aminata were interviewed and agreed for a second date, as Lacey wants to do it again, setting up the table for a future match.

At the main event, Hyan entered the proving ground against the Forever Champion Athena. Hyan kissed Athena’s hand letting us know she was in it to win it.With every attempt to pin Athena down it was visible that Hyan understood how important and difficult the task was.

Hyan took a beating and as soon as it was possible for her she retaliated as hard as she could. With a couple of near falls to her name it was still not enough for the champion. Athena slapped, insulted and at the end defeated Hyan with the koji clutch.

This will be it for now, let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
