Despite a knock of 42 from Jordan Williams, Corwen’s response was halted on 122, Jack Bettis (3-20) and Ross Roberts (3-12) doing the damage with the ball.

Carmel & District also impressed in their nine-wicket success away to St Asaph Seconds, who were bundled out for just 48 (Nilanka De Silva 4-15). Buddhika Prasad’s breezy unbeaten 25 led Carmel to 52 for one inside seven overs.

Gareth Fox’s sparkling undefeated 112 led Park to 216 for four (Lee Beer 45).

Ben Griffiths (4-19) and Owais Saeed (3-29) then took centre stage as Denbigh were dismissed for 149.

Alwyn Williams (4-8) and Dewi Parry (3-8) helped Llanrwst to a thumping 10-wicket triumph versus Dolgellau, while Pwllheli (Iwan Moore 4-24) won by five wickets at Menai Bridge Seconds.

Sam Burke (5-10) played a major role as Llandudno were bundled out for just 68. Gresford squeezed home on 69 for nine, with Emlyn Jones crucially 14 not out at the end.

Brymbo Thirds’ trek to Pwllheli Seconds turned out to be a worthwhile one thanks to a crushing 150-run success. Gareth Parry (89) and Charlie Croasdale (51) led the visitors to 220 for six, before Pwllheli responded with 70.

Marchwiel and Wrexham Seconds got the better of Bersham Seconds by 56 runs. Nick Husbands’ knock of 64 was the top effort in Marchwiel’s 149 for seven.
