The Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer wanrs a Triple Threat at Money in the Bank, and she’s got it.
Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, two women determined to win back the Women’s World Championship, went one-on-one in the main event of Monday’s Raw. The two familiar foes each showed how bad they wanted to make it to the title match this Saturday at Money in the Bank. However, of course, the Judgment Day would come out to help out Morgan. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez showed up on opposite ends of the ring, distracting the referee, and doing what they could to help Morgan to the detriment of Lynch.
Eventually, the champion herself would come out, seemingly to help Lynch (or at least make the odds more even). Vaquer pointed out to the referee that Rodriguez was attempting to give her Women’s IC Title belt as a weapon to Morgan. This led to the official to send both Rodriguez and Perez to the back. With the odds a bit more even now, things turned from bad to worse for Lynch as she went after Morgan but ended up hitting Vaquer off the ring apron.
This was enough for Vaquer to enter the ring and take out both Lynch and Morgan. After the bell rang, Vaquer took to the mic to ask for Adam Pearce to come out on stage. She demanded to have both Lynch and Morgan as a Triple Threat at Money in the Bank this weekend. Pearce approved it. Vaquer then landed a corkscrew moonsault on both women. Vaquer stood tall to end the show.
Elsewhere on Raw, three out of the six women who will be participating in the MITB ladder match this weekend were in tag team action. It was Lola Vice and Sol Ruca taking on Judgement Day.
Vice picked up a big singles win last week against Perez, and Ruca has had no love lost for Judgment Day. Primarily due to Rodriguez defeating her for the Women’s IC Title which she currently holds.
The match ends with a miscommunication between Vice and Ruca. Vice goes for a spinning back fist to Rodriguez, who ducks and the fist lands on Ruca’s face. Perez was able to capitalize and rolled Vice up in a bridge pin to get the victory.
Bayley confronts Lyra Valkyria in a backstage segment. Valkyria is upset because she has in her and has proven in the ring that she has everything it takes to be at the top, but she still isn’t. She also isn’t in the MITB ladder match because of Bayley who she destroyed a friendship with and have defeated her twice in the ring.
Bayley says she finds it funny that Valkyria thinks that she has any control over what happens. She says it isn’t just a chapter of Valkyria’s story, but it will be the end and Bayley herself controls when she says it is over.
