Logan Paul has said that soccer players sell being hurt better than some WWE stars.

Former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul took to X/Twitter to share that though he hasn’t been a fan of soccer in the past, watching the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup made him change his stance. He listed his observations, saying the sport is “wildly physical,” and admitted that the players do a better job of selling being hurt than most WWE stars.

The WWE star also shared what he believes is the most ‘f****d’ up thing in all of sports

Paul also said that he now considers penalty kicks to be the most “f****d” up thing in all of sports and pointed out how referees can sometimes upend the game.

He observed, “I’ve never been a Soccer fan but WOW I’ve watched most of the tournament and this World Cup has amazed me. Here are some things I’ve realized about the sport:

    1. Soccer is wildly physical. These players push, shove, and beat the shit out of each other & a lot of it goes unnoticed by the refs. You gotta be extremely durable to thrive on the pitch.
    2. So much theater. These guys sell being ‘hurt’ better than some of my peers in the WWE
    3. Penalty kicks are fkn insane. PK’s gotta be the most exciting/fucked thing in all of sports. Imagine being a goal keeper?? Soccer goes from team sport to individual sport QUICKLY, probably a mental nightmare for the athletes who lose on behalf of an entire country from a tiny mistake
    4. The referees can completely screw the game, the players, and entire nations with one call. That sucks
    5. This event may be the closest thing to world unity. All eyes on these athletes on the biggest stage in the world. Superstars are made. Careers forever changed.”

The WWE star ended the post by calling himself a “new fan.”

Logan Paul has been out of action since suffering a torn triceps injury at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. However, he continues to make non-wrestling appearances alongside his Vision partners, and was present on this week’s RAW when Bron Breakker and Austin Theory recaptured the World Tag Team Championship from The Street Profits, thanks to Maxxine Dupri.

I’ve never been a Soccer fan but WOW I’ve watched most of the tournament and this World Cup has amazed me. Here are some things I’ve realized about the sport:
