However, his report adds that Bournemouth value the England international at around £60 million, meaning there remains a significant gap between the two clubs’ apparent valuations.
Scott flourished under Iraola at Bournemouth and developed into one of the Premier League’s standout young midfielders during the 2025/26 campaign.
A reunion at Anfield would make sense from a football perspective, especially given Iraola’s knowledge of the player’s strengths and potential.
Scott is currently with Thomas Tuchel’s England squad in Miami and could make his senior international debut against New Zealand following an excellent season at club level.
Beyond the raw statistics, Scott’s all-round performances attracted widespread praise.
The 22-year-old became one of the key figures in Bournemouth’s midfield, combining technical quality with relentless energy and creativity. His ability to operate in multiple midfield roles also increased his value.
