Lisandro Martinez is 1/3 with William Hill to remain at Manchester United beyond the January transfer window, despite his post-match comments raising questions over his future.
Atletico Madrid lead the named alternative clubs at 3/1, sharing that price with a move to any Argentinian club. Diego Simeone’s side beat United on Tuesday night, providing the backdrop to the defender’s outburst.
AC Milan are next at 6/1, followed by Tottenham Hotspur at 7/1, making Spurs his shortest-priced alternative Premier League destination.
While Atletico are among the leading contenders should Martinez move, United remain the clear favourites to be his club on 2 February 2027.
Lisandro Martinez’s club on 2 February 2027 Odds:
- Manchester United – 1/3
- Atletico Madrid – 3/1
- Any Argentinian club – 3/1
- AC Milan – 6/1
- Tottenham Hotspur – 7/1
- BAR – 10/1
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Lisandro Martinez’s post-match comments have thrown his Manchester United future into question, although our market still strongly favours him staying through the January transfer window at 1/3.
“There’s a certain irony in Atletico Madrid being the joint-favourites among the alternatives to land Martinez, alongside a move to any Argentinian club at 3/1. Diego Simeone’s side beat United on Tuesday night, a result that provided the backdrop to Martinez’ outburst, and they could yet offer him a route out of Old Trafford.
“The Madrid team lead the named clubs in our market, ahead of AC Milan at 6/1 and Tottenham Hotspur at 7/1, with Spurs thought to be his most likely Premier League destination.
“Atletico may have helped spark the latest uncertainty, but our market still expects him to finish the season at United, with his contract set to expire in the summer.”
