Money in the Bank is approaching and the field is almost set. As of this week’s SmackDown, the fifth out of the six women have qualified.
Lash Legend has qualified after defeating Charlotte Flair and Giulia. Flair almost punched her ticket after delivering a moonsault on both her opponents, but Legend was able to kick out. The final sequence saw Giulia hit arrivederci followed by a Northern Lights Bomb on Flair. However, Legend swooped in and hit the Lash Extension on Giulia to get the pin and the victory.
Legend joins a field of women who haven’t won a world title on the main roster. She joins Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, and Jacy Jayne. The last woman to qualify will be decided next week. That match will have Candice LeRae vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Tatum Paxley
A six woman tag team match took place with the trio dripping in gold, Fatal Influence, taking on Paige, Tiffany Stratton, and the WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green. Nikki Bella has been feuding with Paige but also has had an interest in Green. She appeared in the final moments of the match and tripped Paige when the official’s back was turned. This allowed Jacy Jayne to hit Paige with Rolling Encore to get the win.
In a WWE Exclusive, Alexa Bliss attempts to console Flair who lost her MITB qualifier. She explains that Flair doesn’t need the briefcase and it should go to someone who is up and coming, such as Tatum Paxley. Paxley joins the conversation only to run into The Baddies who aren’t happy that Paxley has a qualifier next week.
