The 27 year old joined the Tigers from Stoke for a fee which could rise to £10.5million, was involved in a incident.
The club said in a statement on Friday (11th September): “Hull City is relieved to confirm that Sorba Thomas is unharmed following a road traffic accident near to the club’s Cottingham training ground.
“The club is aware of images of Sorba’s car circulating on social media and can reassure supporters that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed.”
A Humberside Police spokesman told The Sun: “Officers and emergency services are currently in attendance following reports of a road traffic collision on Milllhouse Woods Lane, Cottingham.
“The road remains closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area to allow emergency services to operate effectively.”

Ahead of this weekend’s game, Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic said, as per Yorkshire Post: “I don’t have any doubt about Sorba because he made a difference in the Championship (at Stoke).
“He is a left winger and we can use him inside like a left (sided) number 10. He knows football. He is very good in delivery and his end product is good. Also, he has very good set-pieces.
“He is sharp and has speed. Also, in defence, he is very responsible. I think he suits us a lot. Like always, I hope he can help us.”
Sorba Thomas said to the press: “Yeah, was a dream come true. You know, from the journey that I’ve had from scaffolding and all that crazy stuff to now my family can see me playing at the best league in the world.
“You know, it’s an honour, it’s a privilege and I’m forever grateful to the club for making that dream come true. But for me it’s just made me more hungry really.”
