The New York Knicks haven’t reached the NBA Finals since the 1990s, when they played for a championship twice in the 1993-94 and 1998-99 seasons.
As you might imagine, ticket prices have increased significantly for the 2025-26 edition:
It makes sense that a fanbase that hasn’t seen a title in 53 years—the Knicks were last champions in the 1972-73 season—would be willing to pay extreme amounts of money to take part in the NBA Finals this time around. This Knicks team certainly appears to have some magic about it, winning 11 straight games in these playoffs.
Granted, either the Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs await, the two best teams in basketball during the regular season. So nothing is guaranteed just yet. But New York fans seem more than willing to pay lucrative prices for the right to see their team attempt to end the drought.
