12/1 from 100/1 to be Top Goalscorer, 7/2 from 10/1 for Golden Ball and 7/4 from 6/1 for BBC SPOTY
Jude Bellingham has flown into contention with William Hill to be top goalscorer, land the Golden Ball at the 2026 World Cup and be named BBC Sports Personality of the Year after a star performance in England’s quarter-final win over Norway.
Bellingham was a 100/1 shot to be the tournament’s leading goal scorer prior to the quarter-final but after a brace against Norway putting him level with Harry Kane with six goals, he is now just 12/1, behind Kylian Mbappe (10/11), Lionel Messi (11/8) and Kane (9/1) in the market.
Bellingham is also challenging Kane (13/10) in the betting for BBC Sports Personality of the Year, now just behind his teammate at 7/4 (from 6/1).
After his quarter-final display, the midfielder has also shortened dramatically for the Golden Ball, into 7/2 from 10/1, and now leads Kane (8/1) in that market.

BBC Sports Personality of the Year
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “After carrying England to victory over Norway in their World Cup quarter-final, Jude Bellingham is now challenging Harry Kane for favouritism in our BBC Sports Personality of the Year betting.
“Bellingham was 6/1 before his sparkling quarter-final performance, but is now 7/4 to land the end of year gong, just behind Kane at 13/10.
“The Golden Ball might be another award that the Real Madrid midfielder sweeps up if he continues his current form, and he’s now 7/2 from 10/1, ahead of Kane at 8/1.
“After his brace against Norway, Bellingham has been slashed for top goalscorer too, into 12/1 from 100/1 and now only has Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Harry Kane ahead of him.”
