AEW Dynamite Beach Break Results (7/8/2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with commentary welcoming us and we head backstage, where Renee Paquette is interviewing Kenny Omega about what looks to be his biggest and most important match ever tonight.
Omega addresses the issues he has had with his friends over the years, leading to only Michael Nakazawa being in his corner against MJF. Omega then acknowledges that things didn’t go well when they last faced off for the title, but promises things will be different tonight. Omega then says this may be the last time he says it as he bids us adieu good night mwah and goodbye bang.
We then head to ringside, where the crowd is buzzing to get the first match going and Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz greet audiences at home as Tommaso Ciampa makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night while commentary talks about the lineup for tonight. Ciampa then backs up toward the entrance screen, waiting to get Jericho in a trap as his music hits but Jericho takes an alternate path to the ring before going up the ramp to blindside Ciampa. He then starts using the props on the stage, including the deck chairs as his music continues to play. Judas then finally comes to an end as the crowd are singing along and Jericho pulls Ciampa down the ramp to bring him into the ring and we get this match underway.
Singles Match: Chris Jericho vs. “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa
The match starts off with Jericho chopping away at Ciampa in the corner, sending him to the ropes as we notice that Ciampa got cut open earlier. Ciampa then tries to escape the ring for a breather, only for Jericho to get the drop on him with a dive to the floor. He then gives some love to the front row before bringing Ciampa back into the ring, where Ciampa catches Jericho by surprise with a draping DDT off the middle rope. Ciampa then poses, mocking the crowd as he brags that he rules before going back to work on Jericho, who fights back with a Death Valley Driver sending Ciampa onto the apron. Jericho then continues the attack, bringing Ciampa onto the ring steps as he looks for a suplex.
Ciampa then fights him off, cinching in a double underhook for a facebuster of sorts into the steps. Ciampa then pats himself on the back as we get a replay and he shows some love for a fellow baldie before going back to work on Jericho. Ciampa then stomps away at Jericho before giving Taz a high five at the announce desk, only to mock Schiavone and Excalibur. Both men then return to the ring, trading strikes back and forth until Jericho sends Ciampa to the corner. He then hits some right hands until Ciampa fights back, taking Jericho to the mat with an Air Raid Crash off the second rope. Cover by Ciampa, but it’s only good for a two count. Ciampa then hits some chops, setting Jericho up for the Walls but Jericho fights him off, forcing Ciampa to retreat to the corner. Jericho then intercepts him with a hurricanrana, sending Ciampa to the canvas before hitting a brainbuster for a near fall.
Both men then trade strikes on their way back to their feet before dropping down. Ciampa is back up, grabbing a nearby pail of sand that he tries to use on Jericho who hits a Codebreaker to drive the pail into his face. Cover by Jericho, but Ciampa kicks out. Ciampa then gets back up for a running knee and Jericho eggs him on for a second to which Ciampa obliges. Cover by Ciampa, but Jericho kicks out and he blocks a final running knee attempt, bringing Ciampa to the mat for the Walls. Ciampa then crawls to the ropes, where he grabs the pail of sand. The referee. then pulls the pail away from him, but Ciampa grabs a handful of sand and throws it into the face of Jericho before taking the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa!
After the match, Ciampa isn’t finished as he grabs a chair from outside to lay out Jericho. He then goes under the ring, pulling out a motorized drill as officials rush to the ring to stop him from doing more damage. Ciampa then eventually backs off as commentary hypes up the AEW International Championship bout coming up next.
We then get a vignette featuring the Brawling Birds as they get into a bar fight with some local talent and presumed patrons. The two then have a laugh.
Will Ospreay is then asked by Renee Paquette about the main event and Ospreay says he’s rooting for Kenny Omega. MJF then tells Ospreay he was speaking of him judgmentally. He then tells Ospreay that Omega will never challenge for the World Title again. MJF then tells Ospreay that he looks forward to humiliating him in front of his home country crowd. Ospreay then says MJF doesn’t even break the top 50 wrestlers in the world and he has seen 14-year-old Japanese girls better than him. MJF then uses his title to attack Ospreay and it leads to a brawl. MJF then vows to kill Omega and says it’ll be Ospreay’s fault.
Kyle Fletcher then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night with the Don Callis Family and Konosuke Takeshita follows.
AEW International Championship Match: “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher
The match starts off with Fletcher turning his back on Takeshita before the two lock up. Fletcher then quickly takes control, sending Takeshita to the mat for a side headlock. Takeshita then breaks free and hits the rope, though Fletcher is barely fazed as he trades strikes with Takeshita. Standing switch is broken by Takeshita and he sends Fletcher to the mat. Takeshita then brings Fletcher back to his feet before sending him to the corner for some punches. Fletcher then blocks a hammer throw only to take a forearm, but he hits the ropes for a boot sending Takeshita to the outside. He then leaves the ring, grabbing a bottle of water for a hydration break only to be laid out on the floor by Takeshita.
Takeshita then has some water for himself, mouthing off with Lance Archer and Don Callis before going back to work on Fletcher. He then brings Fletcher back into the ring, but a distraction from Callis allows Fletcher to regain control. He then wrings the arm of Takeshita, but a right hand is blocked as Takeshita goes for a choke hold. Fletcher then breaks free, hitting the ropes before Takeshita sends him to the outside with a boot and a dive sends Fletcher to the floor. Both men are back in the ring now, trading strikes until Fletcher takes a boot. He then blocks a leaping lariat with an uppercut before hitting the ropes and runs into a Blue Thunder Bomb by Takeshita. Both men are down until Takeshita gets back to his feet. Fletcher is on the apron as Takeshita looks for a brainbuster, but Fletcher blocks it.
Fletcher then goes for a brainbuster of his own, but Takeshita breaks free setting up for a tombstone piledriver onto the hardest part of the ring. He then follows up with a wheelbarrow suplex dropping Fletcher onto the apron and both men fall to the floor. Takeshita is the first to his feet, bringing Fletcher back into the ring as he looks for a running knee. Fletcher then counters out, but gets taken to the mat with a reverse rana. Fletcher then fights back, hitting Takeshita with a Michinoku Driver but it’s only good for two. He then sends Takeshita to the ropes, where Takeshita hits a big lariat to lay Fletcher out. He then pulls Fletcher to the middle of the ring before going up top, but Fletcher intercepts him. He is then pushed back but hits a kick to the head of Takeshita, who fires back with a powerbomb sending Fletcher clear across the ring.
He then goes for a running knee but is tripped up by Callis and Fletcher gets caught by Takeshita with a Raging Fire. Takeshita is hurt as he crawls over for the pin, only for Fletcher to grab the bottom rope. Takeshita then goes to the corner, dropping his knee pad for a Power Drive Knee but Fletcher rolls through for a near fall. He then breaks out of a backslide for a running kick and follows it up with a sheer drop brainbuster. Cover by Fletcher, but Takeshita gets a shoulder up just in time. Takeshita then looks to take the fight to Fletcher in the corner, but Fletcher hits him with a brainbuster onto the turnbuckle for the win.
The winner and new AEW International Champion, Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher!
After the match, Fletcher celebrates alongside the Don Callis Family, while the Conglomeration checks on their friend the injured Takeshita.
Don Callis starts to talk when he is interrupted by the arrival of Mick Foley, who is acting as special guest interviewer for the night. Schiavone then talks about this being Foley’s first time on the TBS network since 1994 as Foley enters the ring, thanking the fans for their cheers before saying this is all about our new International Champion Kyle Fletcher. He then asks Kyle what it felt like having to beat his former best friend Konosuke Takeshita for the title. Fletcher then corrects Foley by saying Takeshita was never his friend, running down the former champion before Callis interrupts. He is not happy about Foley trying to steal the spotlight, but Foley says he wants to talk about a subject Don doesn’t know much about and that is credibility. When he talks about Kyle being one of the finest young talents alive he means it, but he wants to take a moment to focus on his shoes.
He then talks about each shoe representing his dogs, before promising to make one of them very well acquainted with the inner confines of your a**. This then riles up Callis before he turns his attention to introducing “The Jet” Kevin Knight. Knight then jokes that it took Fletcher long enough to finally bring gold back to the Don Callis Family, before reminding everyone of his chase for the World Title to become Kevin 2 Belts. Andrade then makes his way out and he runs down Callis for keeping him away from a shot at gold over the past few months. Callis then offers him a chance at a belt, saying if he beats Jake Doyle he can face the meat crusher in Mark Davis for the National Title. The Family then looks to go after El Idolo, chasing him backstage.
We then head backstage, where we see Darby Allin. Allin has a skateboard in hand, but he gets beaten down by Jake Doyle and Brian Cage. Keven Knight is nervous about a nearby backpack, telling Cage to grab the skateboard to lay out Allin with it, only for an explosion to be set off. This then distracts the group as we see El Idolo with a controller. They then get mad at Andrade, but he asks them how they know before laying into them as we head back to ringside.
The Death Riders then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The WorkHorsemen are already in the ring.
Tag Team Match: The Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay) vs. The WorkHorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry)
The match starts off with Henry and Moxley and Moxley quickly takes Henry to the mat with a drop toe hold. Henry then turns things around as he gets a hammerlock on Moxley, but Moxley is back up as he exchanges holds with Henry who takes Moxley to the mat. Moxley then gets to his feet, laying in some chops on Henry before Henry tags in JD Drake. Drake then hits some chops of his own on Moxley, forcing him to the corner but Moxley catches him with a boot and he follows it up with some chops. A tag is then made to Henry as the Workhorsemen double team Moxley for a near fall. Henry then hits a roundhouse kick on Moxley, only to be taken to the mat with a dragon screw.
Moxley then makes a tag to Ospreay, who fires up with a flurry of offense on Henry to send him to the outside before hitting a dive on the Workhorsemen. Henry then takes control in the ring, dropping Ospreay to the mat before tagging in Drake. They then go for a double team before Ospreay fights back with a hurricanrana and a corkscrew cutter. A tag is then made to Moxley, who sends Drake to the outside for a dive. He then brings Drake back into the ring and hits a clothesline in the corner, followed by some right hands and a bite to the forehead. Henry then looks to intervene, but gets dropped hard by Moxley, who gets knocked down by Drake. Mox then leaves the ring for a breather, with Shafir helping to fire him up before he heads back in. Ospreay then comes into the ring for a Styles Clash on Drake as Moxley hits Henry with a Paradigm Shift. He then hits another one on Drake, followed by a Hidden Blade from Ospreay as Moxley gets the pin for his team.
The winners of the Tag Team Match, The Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay)!
After the match, Ospreay celebrates in the ring as Moxley and Shafir leaves through the crowd.
Commentary then hypes up the remaining matches for the night before we go to a vignette focused on Hikaru Shida winning the TBS Championship last week in Survival of the Fittest.
Commentary then shows some appreciation for Clearwater Beach as hosts for the night before we head back to ringside for the next match.
Thekla then makes her way out to keep an eye on who wins a shot at her AEW Women’s World Championship at Redemption and Mercedes Moné is keeping an eye on things as well from a lifeguard chair as she will face the champion at All In: London after winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
The first entrant in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match is Athena and the second is Maya World as the match gets underway.
Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match (Winner Gets AEW Women’s World Championship Match At Redemption): ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena vs. Maya World vs. TBD

She then hits a fall away suplex into a moonsault from the corner, but only gets a two count as our next entrant comes out and it’s Skye Blue. She then brings a kendo stick to the match as she lays into Athena, only for World to fight her off for a moment as Blue lays into her with the stick. Cover by Blue, but Athena breaks it up as the two fight to the outside where Athena sends Blue into the ring steps.
Mina Shirakawa then makes her way out as the next entrant. She then goes after all three of the other women in the ring, fending them off until World gets a clutch for a near fall. Shirakawa then fights back from the ropes, taking World down with a tornillo for a two count as our next entrant comes out and it’s Rina representing STARDOM. She then makes a beeline for the ring, where she trades forearm strikes with Shirakawa while Blue fights off Athena in the corner. Rina and Shirakawa then take Blue down but Shirakawa quickly gets sent out by Rina, who mocks Shirakawa’s shimmy before taking a boot by Athena. Rina then fights back with a shotgun dropkick before taking out World. We then get a near fall for Rina as our next entrant comes out and it’s Julia Hart to round out the Triangle of Madness.
She then brings a trashcan lid to the ring, laying out Athena with it before Athena rolls out of the ring to safety. That doesn’t last long as Hart steals a chair from a ringside official to attack Athena as well as the official. Blue then leaves the ring for a chair from the timekeeper area, attacking the announcer along the way and this turns to the Triangle of Madness attacking security. Our countdown then brings out the next entrant in Thunder Rosa. She then goes right after the Triangle of Madness, sending Hart out of the ring before hitting a dropkick that drives the trashcan lid into Blue. Hart then comes back in but gets taken out for the cover and World breaks the pin. Rosa then takes her to the mat for a near fall before Rina breaks it up as well and this leads to the two fighting it out. Neckbreaker of sorts then gets Rosa a near fall, only to take an O Face from Athena but Shirakawa breaks the pinfall up.
Shirakawa then lays into Athena until she is sent to the mat, but the majority breaks up the pin as the countdown rolls on and our next entrant is Willow Nightingale. Big pop for the former TBS Champion as she heads to the ring, laying out the field to another great reaction. She then sends some of the women to the outside, setting up for a cannonball senton sending them to the floor. Athena then tries to get the drop on Nightingale, who drops her to the floor with a Death Valley Driver. She then returns to the ring, where the Triangle of Madness double team her. Blue then heads to the ropes but is pulled out of the ring by World, who hits a Michinoku Driver on her as Nightingale kicks out of a near fall by Hart before dropping her with the Babe with the Powerbomb for the win.
The winner of the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match, Willow Nightingale!
After the match, it is announced that Nightingale will compete for the title at Redemption but she doesn’t get time to celebrate as Thekla runs into the ring to lay her out. The Triangle of Madness then go after Moné on the ramp, only to be laid out by Divine Dominion. The tag champs then stand tall over the Triangle of Madness as Moné takes out Thekla in the ring, standing over the two women standing in her way for a picture perfect moment at All In.
We then get a vignette looking at Jack Perry, his history with AEW and what it means for him to re-sign with the company.
We then head to the back, where “Speedball” Mike Bailey talks to Renee Paquette about wanting some revenge against the Don Callis Family. He then challenges Mark Davis to a match on Collision for the AEW National Championship.
We then head to ringside for the main event of the night as Kenny Omega gets an extended introduction hyping up his story heading into tonight’s match. Omega then makes his way down the ramp to a big reaction from the crowd. MJF then makes his way down to the ring next. We then get introductions for Omega and for MJF, with MJF emphasizing that he kicked out of the One Winged Angel like it was nothing before this match gets underway.

The match starts off with both men standing in the corner before rushing to the center, where Omega hits some hard right hands on MJF. MJF then sneaks an attack to gain control, but not for long as Omega counters out before looking for a One Winged Angel but MJF breaks free, sending Omega out of the ring instead. MJF then follows Omega out of the ring, but instead of attacking Omega more he makes an escape through the crowd. Omega is back on his feet, following MJF and he manages to intercept MJF who turns it back around to mock Omega and the fans with a pose. Omega then fires back with some right hands before directing traffic away from the chairs, so he can launch MJF into them.
Omega then brings MJF away from the scene, sending him into another chair before bringing him back toward ringside. He then brings MJF into the ring before hitting the ropes for a V-Trigger, only for MJF to pull the referee into his path, stopping Omega in his tracks. He then takes advantage by biting Omega in the head, forcing Omega to the apron. He then takes another bite before mocking the crowd, but Omega breaks free from a Heatseeker. Omega then gets back to his feet, bringing MJF back down the ramp to the ring. He then goes up top for a dropkick, sending MJF to the mat before MJF rolls out of the ring. Omega then fires up before hitting the ropes, dropping MJF to the floor with a dive over the top rope. He then brings MJF back into the ring before sliding in. He then runs the ropes for speed with a Blue Shadow and a neckbreaker forces MJF to escape to the apron. V-Trigger then misses as MJF sends him face-first into the ropes instead. Omega then sends MJF to the ropes for a snap dragon suplex, fending off an attack from MJF before both men hit the ropes and double down.
MJF then gets to his feet as does Omega, who dodges MJF before looking to take him out but MJF hits back, setting Omega up for a package piledriver and a two count. Omega then crawls to the apron as MJF leaves the ring to clear off the top of the announce desk. He then pulls Omega up for a tombstone piledriver, but Omega fights out of it. He then catches MJF on the ropes before charging at him with a running boot that sends MJF crashing through the announce desk. Both men are back in the ring, specifically on the apron as Omega brings MJFF back to his feet for some chops. A clubbing forearm then takes MJF down and this allows Omega to set up for a One Winged Ange, but MJF fights back and he forces Omega to send him back into the ring instead.
MJF then follows Omega to the outside, but takes a chop before Omega lets him know he Can’t Escape with a rolling front fireman carry slam. He then gets on the barricade for a moonsault, but MJF fights back before taking Omega to the floor with a tombstone piledrive. MJF is slow to his feet as he brings Omega back to the ring. He then looks for a Heatseeker, but is knocked back by Omega. Omega then looks for a V-Trigger off the rope he drops to the mat, where he hits MJF with a knee strike instead. He then sets MJF up for a snap dragon suplex, forcing MJF into the corner for a V-Trigger. He then props MJF onto the top turnbuckle as MJF tries to escape. He then takes a couple of palm strikes by Omega, who gets MJF on his shoulders only to be taken to the canvas with a poison rana instead.
He then brings Omega to the ropes for a Heatseeker and the cover, but Omega narrowly kicks out at two. MJF then escapes the ring as Omega tries to get back on his feet and we see MJF grab his title from the timekeeper area. He then brings it back into the ring, but the referee catches him and takes the belt away. MJF then starts to pull out his Dynamite Diamond Ring but out comes Will Ospreay, who grabs the ring away from MJF. The referee then catches this and has something of an argument with Ospreay while Omega grabs the World Title, looking to hit MJF with it. He then decides against it and MJF takes advantage of this with a low blow. Cover by MJF, but Omega kicks out at one. MJF and Omega then exchange right hands with one another, but Omega hits three V-Triggers to MJF. He then hits a One Winged Angel to MJF for the win.
The winner and new AEW World Champion, “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega!
After the match, Omega gets some extra pyro and a graphic on the screen hyping his title win and the fact he is set to face Will Ospreay at All In: London as the show comes to a close.
