In 2024, Will Levis experienced one of the most difficult moments of his career off the field.
The Tennessee Titans quarterback became embroiled in a major controversy after an intimate video of him and his then-partner, Gia Duddy, was leaked online without his consent.
The leak generated an enormous stir on social media and in the media, forcing both Levis and Duddy to face unwanted public exposure. Determined to clear up what happened, the quarterback launched an investigation to identify those responsible for distributing the material.
It was his mother, Beth Levis, who revealed new details during an interview on Ross Tucker’s podcast.
“So Will actually ended up hiring a cybersecurity specialist and private investigator and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this,” Beth said. “And through that, try to scrape what they could to make this go away. Ultimately, a lot of the content was taken down, but you know, you can never scrape anything entirely from the internet. It’s there forever. There is a footprint, unfortunately.”
A hacker group identified as responsible
As Beth explained, the investigation revealed that the leak did not come from someone close to the couple, but rather from a cyberattack that had occurred years prior.

“We found out that the content had been stolen. His personal computer or one of his devices was breached while he was still in college,” she stated. “We finally learned that an Eastern European hacker group was behind it, known for targeting high-profile or attractive couples to expose their privacy and gain notoriety.”
The family stated that knowing the origin of the incident allowed them to better understand what happened and rule out any betrayal by people in their inner circle.
While attempting to put this episode behind him, Levis remains focused on his athletic future with the Titans. Heading into the new season, the quarterback starts behind Cam Ward and Mitchell Trubisky in the battle for the starting job.
Furthermore, several analysts believe he could become an attractive piece in the trade market, where multiple franchises might gamble on his talent and offer him the opportunity to relaunch a career that is looking to get back on track in the NFL.
