India A will be looking to level its ongoing series with Australia A when the two sides meet in the second unofficial ODI in Pondicherry on Friday, October 9.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s side suffered a comprehensive defeat by 125 runs in the first match, with Nathan McSweeney’s 123 and Mahli Beardman’s four-wicket haul putting the host to the sword.
Perhaps the only positives for India A were Rajat Patidar, who scored a half-century as wickets tumbled from the other end, and Suryansh Shedge, who claimed four wickets with the ball.
