Andrade El Idolo’s latest ringside selfie ended with a chokehold during the AEW All Out on September 26, 2026. As Andrade battled PAC for the AEW National Championship, he paused to offer a selfie to a woman in the front row. Marina Shafir suddenly came up behind her and choked her out, leaving Andrade stunned.
The attack gave PAC an opening to blindside Andrade and take control. Shafir had already interfered in the match, including helping PAC get shots in on Andrade outside the ring, but the choke during the selfie turned the ringside spot into the match’s wildest moment.
Andrade’s selfies have become a recurring part of his AEW matches, with the women involved often turning out to be wrestlers from the independent scene. He’s stopped for photos during AEW Grand Slam Australia, Revolution and recent episodes of Dynamite. At All Out, though, the bit ended with Shafir choking the woman out while Andrade watched in disbelief.
