No agreement has been reached and the 22-year-old’s presence in France does not guarantee he will join the Ligue 1 side.
According to journalist Nizaar Kinsella, Strasbourg are considering Slonina as they look to replace Mike Penders, who has returned to Chelsea following his loan spell in France.
Penders’ return has left Strasbourg in the market for a new goalkeeper, with Slonina among the options under consideration.

Slonina has previously spent time on loan at Belgian side Eupen and League One club Barnsley. Should Strasbourg decide to proceed, the move could be either a loan or a permanent transfer.
Strasbourg are expected to closely assess Slonina’s ability with the ball at his feet. Head coach Hugo Oliveira has previously said he wants his goalkeepers to operate as an 11th outfield player in possession.
If Slonina does not convince during his time with the club, Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is another option Strasbourg could consider this summer. The 24-year-old is among the players whose future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain as Chelsea continue to reshape their squad.
