    William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Saturday’s 2026 World Cup game between Colombia and Ghana.

    Our Prediction: Colombia To Win To Nil (13/10), Colombia 1-0 Ghana (4/1)

    Now, let’s take a closer look at some World Cup odds and betting angles for Saturday’s fixture:

    Colombia v Ghana – Saturday, 2.30am

    View all available markets at William Hill

    • Colombia impressed throughout the group stage, collecting seven points from a possible nine (W2, D1) to finish above Portugal and top Group K. They now stand just ninety minutes away from reaching the round of 16 for the first time since their penalty shootout defeat to England back in 2018.
    • It’s certainly within reach. La Tricolor have lost just twice since March 2025 (W9, D5), a run that highlights their growing consistency and confidence, while they’ve also kept four clean sheets in their last six World Cup matches.
    • Colombia have won their last four World Cup games against African opposition, so it’s no surprise they enter this round of 32 clash as strong favourites. William Hill make them 1/2 to win inside ninety minutes.

    • Ghana have reached the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup after collecting four points in Group L, advancing as one of the best third‑placed nations despite a 2-1 defeat to Croatia in their final group game.
    • Not since 2010 have the Black Stars featured in a World Cup knockout fixture, but Carlos Queiroz’s side will give themselves every chance of progressing thanks to their defensive organisation — already proving they can keep out talented opposition throughout this tournament.
    • Given Ghana have seen five of their last six matches either drawn or decided by a single‑goal margin, this has all the makings of a tight, cagey affair. Punters who fancy the Black Stars to edge it can back them at 6/1 with William Hill to win inside ninety minutes.

    Bet Builder Hub:

    • Total Goals – Under 2.5 – I’m expecting these two sides to be well organised at the back, with goals very much limited.
    • Player Fouls – Marvin Senaya (Over 1) – Senaya has committed at least two fouls in three of his last four games.
    • Player Shots On Target – James Rodriquez (At Least 1) – Rodriguez has produced at least one shot on target in eight of his last nine international games.
    • Total Corners – Under 9.5 – Only one of Colombia’s last ten competitive games have seen ten or more corners.

    Agree with our tips? Combine them in a Bet Builder at 11/2 with William Hill.

    How to take part

    Here’s how to get involved in the Acca boost offer:

    1. Place a Qualifying Acca (football accas of 4+ selections (min odds 1/5) from Qualifying Markets) in any William Hill shop via the Sports Betting Terminals or over the counter on the Smart Hub SSBT or online via the William Hill Website or App(s);
    2. If the bet wins, an Acca Boost will be added to your bet returns.
    3. The % of your win back as an Acca Boost will be determined by the number of selections in your Qualifying Acca (see full terms for breakdown of Acca Boost available).

    Significant Conditions

    1. The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
    2. This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
    3. To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
    4. A “Qualifying Acca” is:
      1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
      2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
      3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
      4. On the Promotion Markets.
    5. The “Promotion Markets” are:
      1. 90 Minutes;
      2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
      3. Both Teams To Score;
      4. Match Under/Over Goals.
    6. No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
    7. Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
      1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
      2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
      3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost

      8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
      9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
      10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
      11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
      12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
    8. The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
    9. The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
      1. For retail customers: £2,000
      2. For online customers: £10,000.
    10. There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
    11. In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
    12. In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
    13. Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
    14. Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
    15. Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
    16. For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
