All our sides were in action in the heat of Saturday.

Driffield Town’s bright recent run ended abruptly at the hands of Stamford Bridge in Yorkshire Premier North.

Bridge chose to bat first and posted 268/7 from 50 overs- George Drury took 5/64.

Town replied with just 151, losing by 117 runs.

In Premier 2, Bridlington amassed a massive 336 after being asked to bat first at Patrington.

Sam Wragg hit a tremendous 119 from just 86 balls with Calum Hatton making a terrific 100 from 98 balls.

Josh Harvey then impressed with 6/59 as the hosts were bowled out for 286, sealing a 50-run success.

In Championship East, Driffield 2nds were deposed from top spot after a 165-run humbling at Brandesburton.

The home side made 263/9 from their 50 overs- there were three wickets each for Owen Goldsworthy and Rob Woodcock.

Driff were then skittled for just 98.

Scarborough were just as ruthless in their derby at North Marine Road.

Boro bowled Seamer & Irton out for 171 inside 44 overs with Archie Hammond taking 4/28 and Danny O’Connor 3/46.

Paul Cyster struck 70 for the visitors.

Boro then romped home by eight wickets, with Callum Armstrong 80 not out.

Folkton & Flixton saw off Scalby, at home, by 125 runs

Will Hutchinson top-scored with 50 as they made 228 batting first.

Lachlan Cooke took 3/44 for Scalby, with two wickets each for Jack Felton, Paul Hesp and Gregor Fraser.

Scalby staggered to 103 in reply with Marley Ward taking 4/23 and Rob Middlewood 3/10.

Wykeham made 320/5 batting first at Beverley Town 2nds.

Ali Sabir struck 107 and Malachai Harry finished not out 99 before the bowlers restricted the away side to 296/8 in a tight finish to win by 22 runs.

Hornsea had a 58-run success at Hull Zingari 2nds.

Batting first, Hornsea made 258/8 from 50 overs.

Skipper Joe Butterworth made 85 not out and Richard Medforth 52.

Butterworth then took an incredible 8/61 as Zingari were dismissed for 200.

Malton & Old Malton are up to second in Championship Central.

Batting first, they made 200/9, against Drax, in 50 overs, Luke Smith top-scored with 36.

They then shot the visitors out for 143 with Adam Spaven taking 3/13 and Shaun Harland 3/15.

Pickering are second from bottom, after an agonising two-run defeat at Clifton Alliance 2nds.

3/21 for Tom Croot and 3/43 from Kieran Boyes restricted Clifton to 182/9 from 50 overs.

However, Pickering were bowled out for 180 despite Sam Batty’s superb 72.

Whitby are up to third in North Yorkshire South Durham Division Two after a convincing victory over Norton.

Chris Knight and Mark Jackson took two wickets each as Norton made 206/5 batting first at the Turnbull Ground.

Theo Clarke then blasted 91 not out as Whitby got home by nine wickets.
