TNA Knockouts gold is on the line, and rivalries get heated on this edition of TNA Impact tonight!
To kick off Knockouts action tonight, Elayna Black faces off against Heather By Elegance. After Black had run into The Elegance Brand last week, the TNA Knockouts Television Champion, M By Elegance, voluntold her tag team partner to fight her battles for her.
Despite getting put in this match, the numbers game is still on Heather’s side as she uses the rest of the brand to trip up Black while she’s hiding on the apron. She hammers away on Black and hits a Crossbody to the outside.
Black is in trouble, but finds her momentum back with the help of the crowd. She powers through and hits a Samoan Drop as she drills into Heather in the corners. Heather finds a counter and looks to go high risk, but misses. Black finally finds her chance to hit the Blackout and pick up the win.
The TNA Knockouts World Championship is on the line tonight as Xia Brookside defends against the newest TNA Knockout, Gabby Forza. Forza had competed previously in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament, but now competes in her second match on Impact for the world title. Daria Rae gave her this golden opportunity, albeit to spite Indi Hartwell. But, Forza has her eyes set on winning the gold for the gnomes.
Brookside underestimates Forza quite a bit, and the sheer strength of Forza sends the Knockouts World Champion for a ride, only to get a two-count.
The Knockouts Champ tries to fight back, but The Gnomie herself catches Brookside in midair and drives her down to follow up with a Vader Bomb. The ring awareness of Brookside saves her from losing the title, but she decides to walk away with the title and take the disqualification anyway. Hartwell stops Brookside in her tracks, but Rae tries to stop it from getting messy. With the referee distracted, Brookside knocks Forza out with the title to retain.
The TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Kiera Hogan and Allie, are backstage, and Hogan says she has a shot at the Knockouts TV title due to pinning M at Lockdown. Santino Marella granted her this opportunity next week, and Hogan is determined to become “Kiki Two Belts.”
We also hear from Zoey Serrano about her 14-year journey in professional wrestling. Despite the setbacks and facing virality, she’s determined to stay true to who she is.
Mila Moore was also a special guest referee tonight for Jason Hotch and Special Agent 0’s match. In recent weeks, members of Order 4 have been imploding over the TNA International Title and have had conflicts with their leader, Mustafa Ali. Moore decides it’s in her best interest to pick sides, but Tasha Steelz has had more than enough from her. A catfight ensues, and Steelz decides it’s in her best interest to do Moore’s job for her.
What did you think of TNA Impact tonight? Who will walk out as next week’s TV Champ? Will Hartwell ever get her Knockouts title opportunity? Let us know what you thought below!
