Amid the New York Knicks’ tremendous playoff run, WWE’s Danhausen has become the team’s unofficial good luck charm.
Danhausen cursed the Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of the Eastern Conference Finals, and now the Knicks are on the brink of sweeping the series. He showed his support for New York on social media ahead of Game 4.
Danhausen initially cursed the Knicks, but lifted that curse during their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. New York has won 10 consecutive games since Danhausen uncursed it, and the Knicks are just a win away from making the Finals for the first time since 1999.
The one caveat is that Danhausen requested courtside seats near Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, which he hasn’t received yet. It might be in the Knicks’ best interest to seat Danhausen courtside so he doesn’t change his mind about uncursing them.
