WWE‘s Bron Breakker believes his cousin, and Hall of Famer Scott Steiner’s son, Brock Rechsteiner, would follow him into pro wrestling one day.
Ahead of his match against Oba Femi at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event this Sunday, Bron Breakker appeared on 11Alive for an interview. During the conversation, he said his cousin Brock Rechsteiner would become a wrestler one day. However, Breakker hopes Rechsteiner enjoys a long career in the NFL before he makes the transition.
Bron Breakker hopes his cousin will follow him to WWE one day
“I think so. One day. I hope that Brock plays in the NFL for a long time. I hope he has a long and great career and gets everything that he wants out of that situation. I’m excited for him. I’ve been checking in with him, making sure his mind is sharp during training camp right now because I’ve been through that and know what it’s like,” Bron Breakker began.
“So anything I can do as a cousin to help, or any advice or any questions or anything in that vein that he would have for me. I just want to be a helping hand for him in any sort of way or just someone for him to talk through because training camp is tough. Anyone who’s been through training camp knows that. But I’m excited for him. I can’t wait to see how the season turns out. No doubt for sure,” Bron Breakker said.
Brock Rechsteiner signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent wide receiver this offseason. However, he faced a setback after being suspended for six games for violating the NFL-NFLPA performance-enhancing substances policy. As a result, the Saints waived Breakker’s cousin this past Sunday. However, he can still be added to any team’s practice squad during the suspension period.
Recent reports also indicated that WWE is almost certain to sign Bron Breakker’s cousin once his NFL career is over. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Brock Rechsteiner.
