WWE NXT stars Tatum Paxley and Wendy Choo got matching tattoos as a tribute to their first-ever women’s casket match.
Tatum Paxley and Wendy Choo competed in the first-ever women’s casket match in WWE history on the October 29, 2024, episode of NXT. The two superstars entered a rivalry after Choo turned on Paxley to end their partnership at Great American Bash 2024, and it culminated with the historic contest, with Paxley coming out with the win.
Now, Tatum Paxley took to her Instagram story to reveal her and Wendy Choo’s new matching casket tattoos to celebrate their match. Orlando-based artist Celeste Payne did the tattoos.
Tatum Paxley is the reigning WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion. She won the title from Blake Monroe in April 2026 in another casket match. Wendy Choo is currently performing in EVOLVE and is the reigning Women’s Champion.
Tatum Paxley says this WWE star is her wrestling soulmate
Speaking on The Mark Moses Show, Tatum Paxley spoke about her former rival Blake Monroe, saying that she felt the need to work with her as soon as she joined WWE NXT. She praised how well they work together. Paxley said no matter what happens in the ring, she will always have a connection with Monroe, and called the Glamour her wrestling soulmate.
“She’s one of those people that, the second she stepped foot into NXT, I was like ‘I have to have interactions with this girl’,” the WWE star said. “Something with me and Blake, we know ourselves so well, and something I really appreciated, aside from the words we had to say with each other, we had this amazing eye contact that I don’t really feel like I get with a lot of people.
“Any time I’m on stage, talking with my heart, sometimes people tend to look around, look at the audience, her and I were so locked in on each other and meant and felt everything we were saying, so I have like a really great connection with her from that promo, I just remember staring at her and we were not looking away. We were locked in on each other, and that was really cool,” Paxley said.
“Getting to do things with her, any time I stepped away from it I was like ‘this feels right’. She might be my wrestling soulmate, I’m not sure,” the WWE star said.
