The show opens up with a graphic tribute to PAC (formerly known as Neville), who passed away this past weekend.
Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to NXT as we get a video from earlier today. NXT General Manager Robert Stone informs Grayson Waller outside the Performance Center that Mason Rook has not been medically cleared tonight. Stone also informs Waller that he will still be defending his NXT Championship in an Open Challenge Match.
Thea Hail then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and ZARIA follows.
WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: ZARIA (c) vs. Thea Hail
The match starts off with Thea Hail going for a Kimura Lock, but ZARIA tosses her across the ring. ZARIA then hits a snap suplex. Hail then favors her ankle. ZARIA then drives her shoulder into the midsection of hail. ZARIA then runs into a big boot. Hail then hits a kick. ZARIA then runs into another big boot. Hail then applies an armbar in the middle of the ring. Hail then works on ZARIA’s left arm. Hail then hits a kick to ZARIA. Hail then goes for a suicide dive, but ZARIA hits her with a forearm and follows it up with a discus clothesline on the floor. Back in the ring, ZARIA hits an elbow drop on Hail. Hail then screams in pain. ZARIA then hits an Irish whip to Hail.
Hail then goes for an inside cradle for a near fall. Hail then hits a step-up enziguiri. ZARIA then holds Hail like a rag doll from the top rope. ZARIA then applies a Dragon Sleeper to Hail. Hail then fights out of it. Hail then tries to mount a comeback, but ZARIA hits a headbutt. Hail then sends ZARIA over the top rope and to the floor and she follows it up with a suicide dive. Hail then hits ZARIA with a DDT on the floor. Back in the ring, Hail hits a crossbody and she follows it up with a big exploder. Hail then hits a headbutt to ZARIA and she follows it up with a meteora. Hail then hits a slam. ZARIA then hits a German Suplex. ZARIA then goes for a Spear, but Hail counters with a Kimura Lock. ZARIA then hits Hail with a Spear and follows it up with an F5 for the win.

We then see Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar talking to The Wagner Brothers about the Dusty Classic. Fraxiom then lets Dar and Moreno know that they’re next after their match tonight. The Vanity Project then comes in to let The Wagner Brothers know who they’ll be facing in the finals.
We then see Myles Borne walking in the backstage area.
Myles Borne then makes his way down to the ring. Borne then grabs a mic and starts off by saying he meant everything he said to Tavion Heights a few weeks ago. The WWE Universe then erupts with a chorus of boos. Borne then says he had no master plan to stick to it. Borne then says he was back to being the man he didn’t want to be. Borne then says he was never going to be played for a sucker by Tavion Heights. Borne then says he thought he could have everything, but he lost his titles. Borne then says he could think about only one man – Ethan Page. Borne then says Page told him that he didn’t have killer instincts. Borne then says Page was right when he said that two people can’t be at the top together. Borne then says there can only be one man and that’s him.
Borne then says he had to make a career-defining decision. Borne then says he could have been continued to be one-half or the star he was always supposed to be. Borne then says he wrapped Heights’ ankle around the steel chair and stomped it. Borne then says he was being the real version of himself. Borne then says the NXT Universe tried to make him guilty. Borne then says the only reason the NXT Universe ever liked him because they felt sorry for him. Borne then says Heights wouldn’t have won a single title without him. Borne then says he was able to win the North American Championship without Heights. Borne then says he feels sorry for the NXT Universe. Borne then says he’s the deaf one yet fans are still watching him.
Borne then says his shoulders were meant to carry that kind of weight. Borne then says he’s not the underdog, but the favorite. Borne then says he’s done being the bigger person. Borne then says he wants to be the real version of himself. Borne then tells everyone to go to hell.
We then see Lizzy Rain talking to Robert Stone andMini Vikingo and Chazz “Starboy” Hall come in and Stone compares them to Rey Mysterio, who thought their team was a great idea. Lizzy then wonders if they’ll work out together.
We then see Emily Agard with WWE NXT Champion Grayson Waller. Waller addresses his upcoming title defense. Waller says Mason Rook was rightfully the #1 Contender, but wanting this title and doing something about are two different things. Waller then says Mason Rook is lucky he didn’t have to quit tonight as doctors did it for him. Waller then says there’s no man on the NXT roster hungry enough to take the title off him. Waller then says whoever steps up to him tonight will get the Grayson Waller rub.
Chazz “Starboy” Hall and Mini Vikingo then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and BirthRight follows.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament First Round Match: BirthRight (Uriah Connors and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) vs. AAA’s Mini Vikingo and EVOLVE’s Chazz “Starboy” Hall
The match starts off with Uriah Connors and Mini Vikingo locking up. Mini Vikingo then applies a waist lock. Connors then slams him down. Stacks then enters the fray, but Mini Vikingo hits a double stomp on his spine. Starboy then comes in. Stacks then slams his head down to the canvas. After a back-and-forth, Connors enters the ring, but Starboy sends him to the floor. He then hits a kick right to the jaw of Stacks, sending him to the outside. The babyfaces then go for a suicide dive, but BirthRight sends them into the steel steps and post. Back in the ring, Connors hits Mini Vikingo with back-to-back backbreakers for a near fall.
Stacks then gets the tag and he bodyslams Mini Vikingo. Stacks and Connors then continue the beatdown on Mini Vikingo. Connors then runs into a big boot. Starboy then comes in. He then drives his shoulder into the midsection of Connors and he follows it up with a dropkick and a standing moonsault. Starboy then slides through the ropes, but Stacks trips him up and hits him with a Uranage on the apron. Connors then distracts the referee while Stacks is going after Starboy. Lexis King then hits a cheap shot behind the referee’s back. Connors then hits a thunderous chop to Starboy.
Starboy then tries to mount a comeback, but Stacks puts him down. Connors then superkicks Starboy on the apron and he follows it up with a Swanton Bomb for a near fall. Starboy then hits a kick to Connors. He then hits a double Pele kick to BirthRight. Mini Vikingo then comes in. He then hits a double dropkick to Stacks and Connors. Mini Vikingo then hits Connors with a DDT. He then hits a Spanish Fly on Stacks for a near fall. Mini Vikingo then heads to the top rope and launches himself, but gets caught. Starboy then enters the fray and hits a standing moonsault on Connors. Stacks then sends Mini Vikingo over the top rope and to the floor.
Connors then hits a Stunner on Starboy. Stacks then follows it up with a Splash. Mini Vikingo then breaks the fall. All four men are now in the ring and they trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Mini Vikingo then hits Connors with a Crucifix. Stacks then hits a kick underneath the jaw of Starboy. Connors then hits a kick to Starboy. Mini Vikingo then flies over the top rope, taking out Connors. Starboy then goes for a moonsault, but he hits Stacks with a DDT. Mini Vikingo then heads to the top rope and hits a 450 Splash for the win.

After the match, BirthRight launches a four-on-two beatdown on Starboy and Mini Vikingo. Zilla Fatu then makes his way out and takes out all the members of BirthRight. Zilla Fatu then hits Stacks with a Samoan Drop. He then hits a Triple Z on Stacks to stand tall over BirthRight. Zilla Fatu then greets the NXT Universe. Zilla says he’s done playing with BirthRight and their numbers game. Zilla then says he’s going to take them out one by one. Zilla then says he’s not done yet. Zilla then announces he’s replacing Mason Rook tonight. Zilla then says he will challenge Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship. Zilla then vows to become the NXT Champion.
We then get a video from Cruz Montana. Montana says he was taught not to tolerate disrespect. Montana then says his daughter never has to experience what he went through. Montana then says his mother was a drug dealer and she did what she had to do to put a roof over their head. Montana then says she never spent a day in jail and she’s the greatest version of herself now. Montana then says his father was blind and drowned himself in his demons because he couldn’t be the father he wanted to be. Montana then says he had his own struggles with drugs and alcohol and he had to go to rehab and he’s proud he survived. Montana then says his past is his superpower.
We then see Izzi Dame run into ZARIA and she congratulates her. ZARIA then walks into the Women’s locker room and sees a pink dress on her locker. She then says she’s not that girl anymore.
Kelani Jordan then makes her way down to the ring. Jordan then grabs a mic and starts off by saying one of the things she loves about being the NXT Women’s Champion is that she’s no longer an afterthought. Jordan then recalls ZARIA taking a pinfall loss last week. Jordan then says Wren Sinclair is still suspended. Jordan then says she’s not going to be a champion who hands out title matches. Jordan then says she’s not going to do open challenges like Grayson Waller. Jordan then says she thinks she has cleared all potential challengers for her NXT Championship. Jordan then says it doesn’t matter who steps up to her next because the result is going to be the same.
Robert Stone then makes his way out and says Kelani Jordan is not going to choose her next opponent. Stone then announces a 20-woman battle royal for next week, with the winner challenging Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc. Stone then says it will feature stars from six brands, including TNA Wrestling. Reina Volcan then ambushes Kelani Jordan and she clotheslines the NXT Women’s Champion. Volcan then hits an elbow drop. Volcan then declares herself for the women’s battle royal.
We then see Naraku and Saquon Shugars walk up to Robert Stone and stake their claim on the NXT Championship. Stone says Saquon Shugars will face Tristan Angels in a few weeks.
DarkState then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Fraxiom follow.
