The WBO is preparing to force Diego Pacheco and Denzel Bentley into dangerous fights their promoters desperately wanted to dodge.

WBO President Gustavo Olivieri confirmed the World Championship Committee will release its rulings on Tuesday.
“Please be advised that tomorrow, the WBO World Championship Committee will render its respective rulings concerning the vacant WBO Super Middleweight World Championship and the WBO Middleweight World Championship Mandatory matter involving Champion Denzel Bentley & Official Mandatory Challenger Yoenli Hernández. The respective determinations will be formally communicated and published accordingly,” said Olivieri on X.
Pacheco arrives at a crossroads if the sanctioning body selects him to meet Janibek. Matchroom spent months steering Pacheco clear of eliminators involving Christian Mbilli and Hamzah Sheeraz. Those bouts presented massive risk without delivering the Canelo Alvarez payday that Eddie Hearn spent years chasing.
