AEW’s Tommaso Ciampa and Charles Mason created an unexpected moment by kissing each other during their independent match.
Tommaso Ciampa made his rare independent appearance at House of Glory’s ‘Salvation’ event on October 9, facing off against Charles Mason in the main event.
Tommaso Ciampa And Charles Mason Share Kiss During HOG Salvation Match
During the match, Ciampa and Mason engaged in a peculiar display of dominance by locking lips before throwing fists at each other.
Wrestling is a place where anything can happen, and this psychological power play certainly made for an unusual moment.
The two competitors threw everything at each other, but the kiss is what has the wrestling fans talking. Ultimately, Ciampa won the match, picking up an indie win in approximately a decade outside WWE and AEW. That said, The Psycho Killer offered fans an opportunity to see him perform outside major promotions again.
After the match, Mason commented on the unusual moment on social media. He wrote, “I think he likes me. The feeling is mutual.”
Tomasso Ciampa is currently entering a feud with Andrade El Idolo in AEW. Ciampa confronted Andrade after the latter successfully defended his AEW National Championship at Collision: Grand Slam France in Paris in October 2026.
The feud follows Ciampa’s high-profile earlier rivalry with Chris Jericho. Jericho and Ciampa have faced off twice previously, with both men holding one victory each.
Meanwhile, Charles Mason has established himself on the indie scene. The Root Of All Evil Mason built a legendary legacy in House of Glory, becoming the first-ever HOG Grand Slam Champion, winning every major title in the promotion.
Mason held the HOG Crown Jewel title for 595 days, the longest reign in the championship’s history.
Needless to say, it was interesting to see the two dark, sadistic characters go head-to-head.
