There will be a Game 7 for the first time since 2018 for the Western Conference Finals, as Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs obliterated the OKC Thunder with a wire-to-wire 118-91 victory in Game 6.

On the cusp of elimination, Wembanyama did not let the Spurs go home, finishing the massive Thursday evening a stat-stuffing performance of 28 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals.
Beyond the fact that he successfully kept the Spurs’ season alive, Wembanyama also authored another important historic feat for himself in his superb Game 6 West Finals performance.
With his 28-point performance, he has now established a new record for most points scored by a center in a first playoff run, per Real App.
He now has 372 points and counting, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 352 markers during the legendary big man’s 1969-70 playoff debut.
