It’s a big weekend for AAA, as the WWE owned promotion is set to hold two nights of TripleMania 34 on Friday and Sunday, with the first show taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada while the second takes place in Mexico City. And while AAA and WWE are looking to treat the shows as big deals, it appears there’s an even greater emphasis on making the Mexico City event memorable. Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful reports that there are “a few unexpected elements in store for the shows,” and that fans would do well to keep an eye on Night Two, where most of the unexpected developments are expected.
This report was seemingly confirmed by another report on Thursday afternoon by False Finish, who took to X to reveal that those involved with TripleMania were expecting “a number of unsigned talent” to participate on Night Two. Though it wasn’t confirmed where these unsigned talents would be used, False Finish’s tweet was accompanied by a poster showing off the Copa Bardahl trophy, suggesting that the multi-person match, a tradition at TripleMania going back to before WWE owned the company, would be where surprises could occur.

No indications were given regarding what “unsigned talent” AAA would be using for the show, and whether the talent would be strictly luchadors or perhaps unsigned talents from elsewhere in North America. Whoever appears will only add to an already stacked two night event, with TripleMania currently scheduled to have a combined twelve matches, including Rey Mysterio vs. Omos on Night One, and Dominik Mysterio defending the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano on Night Two.
