Thea Hail has earned herself an NXT Women’s North American Title Match. On the Sept. 22 episode of NXT, Hail teamed up with the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, La Catalina to take on the NXT Women’s North American Champion, Zaria and the NXT Women’s Champion, Kelani Jordan. Hail was the one non-champion in the match.
The end to this tag team match was quite fun. With Catalina getting the hot tag from Hail, Hail took some time on the outside to recoup. Catalina took on both Jordan and Zaria until a tag was made back to Hail. Hail went right into a ready Zaria who hoisted her up for an F5. However, Hail countered it beautifully into a bridging pin.
Hail has earned a title shot against Zaria for the Women’s North American Title next week.
Izzi Dame is still lurking around Zaria and she presented some footage of Zaria’s past acting role in Wicked.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey is receiving help for her vertigo.
Reina Volcan has returned after missing since her debut. Skylar Rae took on Kali Armstrong. Armstrong went for the Kali Connection and accidentally knocked the referee out of the ring. Volcan entered and took out both Rae and Armstrong. Rae was still able to pick up the victory.
