William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Friday’s 2026 World Cup Quarter-Final game between Spain and Belgium.

Our Prediction: Spain To Win & 2+ Match Goals (19/20), Spain 2-0 Belgium (7/1)

The Los Angeles Stadium is the venue for this 2026 World Cup quarter‑final clash between Spain and Belgium, with the winner progressing into the semi‑finals.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some World Cup odds and betting angles for Friday’s fixture:

    Spain v Belgium – Friday, 8pm

View all available markets at William Hill

    • Spain look to have fully clicked into gear, and their 1-0 victory over Portugal has secured a World Cup quarter‑final spot for La Roja for the first time since their triumphant run in 2010 — still the only occasion they’ve ever progressed beyond the last eight.
    • They come into this tie on a fifteen‑match unbeaten run (W10, D4), while Luis de la Fuente remains unbeaten in major tournaments — winning eleven of his twelve games in charge and drawing the other. Remove penalty‑shootout defeats from the equation and Spain are on a remarkable 36‑game unbeaten streak, beating their all‑time national record of 35.
    • Getting the first goal could be crucial in a high‑pressure tie like this. Spain should feel confident about starting fast on Friday, having led at half‑time in eleven of their last twelve victories. La Roja are 23/20 with William Hill to win the first half, a market they’ve landed consistently during this impressive run.

    • Belgium had much of the footballing world behind them in their round‑of‑16 clash with the USA following the controversy surrounding the USMNT and the governing body, and a 4-1 victory booked their place in the World Cup quarter‑finals for the first time since 2018.
    • Rudi Garcia’s side have now stretched their unbeaten run to eighteen matches in all competitions (W12, D6), and ten of their last sixteen fixtures have produced at least five goals, suggesting we could be in for plenty of entertainment once again.
    • This is, however, a fixture Belgium traditionally struggle in. They’ve failed to win any of their last eight meetings with Spain, with their most recent victory coming all the way back at the 1986 World Cup. Punters can back Belgium to end that poor run here, with William Hill pricing the Red Devils at 4/1 to win inside ninety minutes.
