Scotland women opened their T20 tri-series in Edinburgh with a nine-wicket defeat of the Netherlands.
The Dutch batted first and reached 141-8, with Robine Rijke top-scoring wth 46 before being bowled by Priyanaz Chatterji.
Kirstie Gordon took 3-27 on her first Scotland appearance in nine years after she committed to them after playing for England in 2018.
In reply, the hosts mounted a strong response, with Darcey Carter making 55, before Frederique Overdijk took the Netherlands’ only wicket.
Katherine Fraser and captain Kathryn Bryce were 56 and 23 not out respectively as Scotland won with 31 balls to spare.
Scotland face Bangladesh on Saturday and again on Tuesday before a second meeting with the Dutch on Wednesday.
The series acts as a warm-up for the T20 World Cup, which starts on 12 June. Scotland are in Group B alongside hosts England, Ireland, New Zealand, West Indies and Sri Lanka.
