Savio Vega joins the AAA on FOX broadcast team.
The start of the May 23rd episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX was the announcement of the new General Manager of the brand. AAA and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio is usually on commentary with Corey Graves and J.B.L. (John Bradshaw Layfield), but he was not present on the headset for this show.
It was soon revealed that Mysterio is the new General Manager of AAA, and he came out to speak about his new role and address the audience.
Joining Graves and JBL on commentary in place of Mysterio was Savio Vega. In June 2025, Vega shared that he was working with WWE’s presentation of AAA as a producer.
