Roxanne Perez is the next number one contender for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
On night one of Triplemanía 34, Perez won a four-way bout to earn the opportunity to face the champion at Worlds Collide. That match also included Nattie, Faby Apache, and La Hiedra. The final moments of the match had the current Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer go to use the title belt to the face of Perez, but almost hit Hiedra instead. This allowed an opening for Perez to hit Pop Rox on Hiedra for the win.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, will be the second night of Triplemania. Flammer will defend the title against La Catalina. Whomever is champion after that will go against Perez at Worlds Collide.
The last time that Perez challenged for the Reina de Reinas Championship was in 2022 in TNA against Deonna Purrazzo where the ROH Women’s World Title was also on the line. Purrazzo won that match to become a double champion.
