Eddie Edwards and Ricky Sosa will battle it out at TNA Bound for Glory in October.
Edwards and Sosa shared the ring during “TNA Impact” in a tag team match alongside Cedric Alexander and Elijah respectively, Sosa pinning Alexander for the win before Edwards attacked him with a steel chair. The System joined him in the ring as he sat on the chair over Sosa, making the challenge for their grudge match.
After the match it was announced that Sosa and Edwards would continue their rivalry in singles action at Bound for Glory, marking Sosa’s first singles outing on the main card of a TNA pay-per-view.
He previously wrestled alongside Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, and Jada Stone against Edwards and the rest of the System in Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, and Alisha Edwards at Lockdown, and then a singles match against Eric Young on the Countdown to Slammiversary.
Edwards, on the other hand, has wrestled three singles matches on pay-per-view so far this year. Having beaten JDC in his retirement match at Genesis, he has since gone on a slide to lose to Mike Santana at Rebellion and then Moose at Slammiversary.
