Tiffany Stratton won the Money in the Bank briefcase over the weekend to a very negative reaction. This reaction was mainly due to Stratton already winning the briefcase, and it just being two years ago. Stratton has also been a focal point of the world title since being called up from NXT.
It is being reported by False Finish, that it was Roxanne Perez who was the original plan to win. Another source, WrestleVotes states that Stratton winning was a “surprise” choice and Perez didn’t win because that would have been expected. This will also continue a storyline between Stratton and WWE Women’s Champion, Chelsea Green.
The men’s winner was also changed from Bron Breakker to Penta.
