Raven Chapman is back in the UK three weeks after suffering a bleed on the brain while sparring in Denmark last month.
The 32-year-old, from Norwich, was airlifted to a local hospital where she was diagnosed with a brain haematoma and cerebral oedema after collapsing following a training session on July 24.
After two life-saving surgeries were carried out the former WBC and British title challenger was placed into an induced coma.
Efforts to bring her home have now proved successful.
“Raven is back in the UK,” read the statement from her family, who stayed with her in Denmark following her treatment.
“We wanted to share a little update with everyone who has been following Raven’s journey and supporting her along the way.
“After everything she has been through, having her home and back surrounded by family feels incredibly special.
“There is still a road ahead, and we’re taking things one day at a time, but Raven continues to amaze us with her strength, positivity and determination.
“We honestly cannot thank everyone enough for the love you’ve shown her.
“Every donation, share, message and kind word has meant more to Raven and our family than we could ever properly put into words.
“The GoFundMe is still open as we continue to support Raven through the next stage of her recovery and everything that comes with it.
“Thank you for being part of Team Raven. Poppy, Mum & family xx”
Chapman, 10-2 (3 KOs), fought as recently as June, beating Georgia Klein in four rounds. That victory followed losses over 10 rounds to Karriss Artingsall (March 2025) and, in Saudi Arabia, to Skye Nicolson (October 2024).
