Randy Orton has dealt with fans everywhere from airports to hotels over the years, but a new video making the rounds online shows the WWE star dealing with a situation much closer to home.
Footage that surfaced on October 1 appears to show a fan going to Orton’s house looking for an autograph. Orton answered the front door himself and immediately got into a heated exchange with the fan, who was standing just outside the entrance.
The video doesn’t show everything that happened beforehand, but it does make one thing clear—Orton was not happy that someone had shown up at his home. The two can be seen arguing at the front door before the clip ends.
It’s a much different situation than another fan encounter Orton had earlier this year during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas. Back in April, Ringside News obtained footage of Orton being mobbed by fans inside the MGM Grand as he tried to get to the elevators. Even with people crowding around him, Orton stayed composed and kept moving.
This time, though, the interaction wasn’t happening in a hotel or at a wrestling event. It happened right outside Orton’s front door, where he was unexpectedly face-to-face with a fan who had come to his house.
Whether the fan thought it was harmless or not, the video shows exactly where Orton draws the line. Running into a wrestler at an airport, hotel or signing is one thing. Showing up uninvited at their front door is another entirely, and Orton made it clear he wasn’t about to treat it like a normal autograph request.
