Nikki Storm has herself a match for the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship on Oct. 3. But who will she be facing?
Storm won a four-way Winner’s Choice match two weeks ago and has decided to use that for a title opportunity. She will be getting that match against the current and inaugural champion Gisele Shaw at Northern Rising on Oct. 3. However, during the Winner’s Choice match, Storm distracted the referee when Kelly was getting a three count pin on the reigning champion. This match also included Dani Luna.
In a recent backstage segment, Kelly was being interviewed about the loss when Storm interrupted. She was placating Kelly and giving her the “so sorry” response for her not earning a title shot. Kelly turned the tables and stated that MLP management noticed what Storm did in the Winner’s Choice match and have granted Kelly a match against Shaw for the title next week.
Who will be champion when Storm goes to face for the title on Oct. 3? Shaw or Kelly? Or are we going to get a Triple Threat?
Shaw has been champion for almost 500 days and has successfully defended the title 15 times.
