“My aggressivity, my pressure. He never fights people who throw a lot of punches like me and put a lot of pressure, and I think physically I’m going to destroy him,” Mbilli told Mr. Verzace.

Canelo’s recent performances have followed a familiar pattern, with the Mexican star often doing his best work early before becoming less effective as the fights move into the second half.

Mbilli has built his reputation on constant pressure and a willingness to fight at a demanding pace. Rather than changing his approach against one of boxing’s biggest names, he intends to rely on the same style that helped him capture the WBC title.

“I will not change anything, you know. I will put I will throw punch the first second and the last second of the fight and I hope he will be ready because it will be an amazing fight for him,” Mbilli said.

The champion added that he plans to maintain a high work rate throughout the contest.

“I’m going to put more pressure, more combination, more combination. And I’m going to work my defense, too,” Mbilli said.

Canelo enters the contest seeking to regain the WBC title, while Mbilli aims to prove that his championship reign is only beginning.

If Mbilli follows through on the game plan he has revealed, Canelo could be forced into a grueling fight from the opening bell against one of the division’s most aggressive champions.
