Tottenham have officially agreed a deal with Manchester City for Omar Marmoush, according to Fabrizio Romano. After lengthy negotiations over the past fortnight, Spurs have finally made a breakthrough and the Egyptian international will travel to north London on Monday to undergo his medical.

While the former Eintracht Frankfurt star might have been part of Enzo Maresca’s squad for Sunday’s dramatic 2-1 victory at home against Bournemouth, Marmoush has been given permission to travel down to the capital.

The Italian transfer guru reported that Marmoush’s switch will be an initial loan move that will become mandatory under certain conditions.

Already agreeing on a move to N17, Romano suggested that any permanent move will come at a £50million fee next summer.

While there might have been plenty of excitement around the Etihad back in January of last year as the 55-cap international arrived in Manchester, Marmoush struggled to find his feet with the former Premier League champions.

Only muster three top-flight strikes in his 21 Premier League appearances last season, the one-time Wolfsburg youngster will be hoping for a fresh start in the capital.

Alongside Marmoush’s imminent arrival in north London, the 27-year-old is not the only Manchester City attacking superstar who will be joining Roberto De Zerbi’s side.

Romano also announced last week that Tottenham have agreed a staggering £85million deal for Brazilian forward Savinho and an announcement is expected to be made over the coming days. Sky Sports suggested over the weekend that Spurs will pay City an initial fee of £75million with an additional £10million based on performance-related add-ons.

Getting the 2026/27 Premier League campaign underway with a woeful 3-0 drumming away at local rivals Brentford on Saturday evening, De Zerbi’s men will be next seen on Tuesday when they open their EFL Cup adventure against Championship outfit Charlton.
