Oba Femi left WWE Money in the Bank 2026 with a victory over Bronson Reed and a clear idea of who he wants to face next.
During the event’s post-show, the rising star sent a direct challenge to Roman Reigns after fans began chanting the World Heavyweight Champion’s nickname.
Femi had already overcome interference from The Vision to defeat Reed at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Oct. 10.
Despite Reed using brass knuckles and attempting to put him away with the Tsunami, the Ruler prevailed and turned his attention toward a much bigger challenge.
Oba Femi calls out Roman Reigns after WWE Money in the Bank
Speaking on the official Money in the Bank post-show with Jackie Redmond, Big E, and Peter Rosenberg, Femi explained that Reed’s attempts to gain an advantage never changed his confidence.
“We knew he was coming out with the chair. We knew he was coming with the knuckles. But nonetheless, the Ruler prevails. So, it doesn’t matter. It never mattered. And going forward, bring your best shot,” Femi said.
Big E then asked whether another WWE Superstar remained on Oba Femi’s list of opponents he wanted to face. As the crowd chanted “OTC,” Femi made his choice clear.
“Tribal Chief. No more running. It is about that time,” he declared.
The challenge came hours after Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns also found himself involved in the ongoing confrontation between The Bloodline and 946 following his title defense.
Femi also credited his preparation for helping him rise to the occasion, explaining, “All of my life has been about preparation. Because if you are ready enough, you will definitely live up to the moment. And I have done so much preparation. Everything I have done in my life has led to this moment.”
WWE has not announced a match between Reigns and Femi. However, the challenge puts the champion firmly in the Ruler’s sights, and Femi has made it clear he isn’t interested in waiting in line forever. After surviving Reed and The Vision, he now wants to see whether the OTC can answer the call.
