The upcoming July 14 episode of NXT is going to look a bit different than originally advertised.
In breaking news that took place on Monday, the number one contender for the NXT Women’s North American Title, Layla Diggs, is not medically cleared to compete. She suffered an undisclosed injury over the weekend at an NXT Live event. She was set to challenge Zaria for the title on NXT this week, but Robert Stone had to break the unfortunate news. He stated there will be a new challenger for Zaria tonight as the match will still go on.
In other title news, Kendal Grey will be finding out who her next challenger for the NXT Women’s Title will be. Tonight, there will be a Triple Threat between Kelani Jordan, Kali Armstrong, and former NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice to determine who will face Grey next. Grey successfully defended her title against Nattie last week.
