Laynie Luck is now the former WWE Women’s ID Champion as she dropped the belt this weekend at a ROW (Reality of Wrestling) event. The new champion crowned is “Lady Bird” Monica Monroe. Monroe recently attended a WWE tryout.
Luck successfully defended the title 23 times. She held the belt for 321 days as she won it in a six way elimination match. It was previously vacated by the inaugural champion, Kylie Rae, when her ID contract was not renewed. Luck worked many matches in EVOLVE during her title reign.
For those who may be unfamiliar with Lady Bird Monroe, she is also the current two-time ROW Women’s Champion. She’s also been tag team champions in ROW with GiGi Rey, known together as Money Birds. She has made previous appearances for NWA, AEW, and MPX.
