Despite earning NBA Draft consideration due to his shooting prowess, Milan Momcilovic has withdrawn in favor of entering the transfer portal.
Iowa State Cyclones forward Milan Momcilovic has officially withdrew from the 2026 NBA Draft, according to Jeff Borzello, entering the transfer portal ahead of his senior season. Last year’s collegiate leader in 3-point percentage (48.7%), Momcilovic is now widely regarded as the top transfer available.
Last season with the Cyclones, Momcilovic averaged 16.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, one assist and 0.8 steals in 37 games. Although he certainly received NBA consideration, having worked out with the Minnesota Timberwolves, many mock drafts still had Momcilovic falling out of the first round.
With potential NIL deals rumored to be around $5 million, Momcilovic opted to return to school and improve his draft stock ahead of the 2027 NBA Draft. According to On3, the four frontrunners for his services are Arizona, St. John’s, Louisville and Kentucky.
