WWE legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage announced his divorce from Miss Elizabeth during an awkward live TV appearance.

    OOH YEAH? More like OO…OOF.

The personal lives of celebrities are now pretty much out there in the open thanks to the internet. However, back when people were not as online as they are today, late WWE legend Randy Savage announced his divorce from Miss Elizabeth during his appearance on the ‘Live with Regis & Kathie Lee’ show during a live broadcast in Detroit.

He appeared on the show to promote Survivor Series 1992 but surprisingly broke character for a bit to announce that he and Miss Elizabeth had divorced. The clip has resurfaced on social media and is gaining traction.

“Well, the bottom line is we got a divorce. Super serious. One of those things that didn’t work out. Nobody’s to blame, and I just want to say that in my heart, I’ll always love her,” Randy Savage said.

Randy Savage married Miss Elizabeth in 1984 and became pro wrestling’s most famous couple at the time. However, they divorced in 1992. Savage then married Lynn Payne, whom he dated in the early 1970s, in 2010. The WWE Hall of Famer passed away at the age of 58 on May 20, 2011, due to a sudden heart attack while driving near his home in Seminole, Florida.

When Internet wasn’t a thing, Macho Man Randy Savage announced to the world that he and Miss Elizabeth got a divorce, and the collective gasp from the live crowd says it all. ?
