Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps said: “Lamine Yamal looked despondent upon finishing third in last night’s Ballon d’Or ceremony in London, but we’ve made the Barcelona winger our outright favourite to win next year’s award.
“Yamal currently leads the betting at 7/2 to finally get his hands on football’s biggest individual prize, ahead of Kylian Mbappe at 9/2.
“Despite becoming the first English player to win the Ballon d’Or in a quarter of a century last night, Harry Kane is an outsider at 12/1 to go back-to-back next season, with national teammate Jude Bellingam (10/1) ahead of him in the market.”
