‘The Jet’ Kevin Knight turns on his tag team partner.
Coming out to the ring in the opening portion of the three-hour AEW Dynamite/Collision broadcast was TNT Champion Kevin Knight. It was at the conclusion of the 2026 Double or Nothing pay-per-view that Knight attacked Darby Allin after Allin lost the AEW World Championship to MJF.
Allin was being stretchered out, and Knight hit him with the UFO Splash off the top rope. Knight gave his reasons why he attacked Allin and brought up that going into Double or Nothing, he told Allin not to let him down and not to let AEW down by losing to MJF.
Knight said he should have been in the main event of Double or Nothing, seeing as how he was the last person to defeat MJF. Knight scored a win over MJF to retain the TNT Title back in April.
Knight’s tag team partner, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, came down to the ring and said Knight’s ambition is his best and worst trait. He added that what Knight did to Allin was a mistake, but that can be corrected if Knight apologizes.
Knight proceeded to attack Bailey, bringing an end to their tag team known as JetSpeed. They won the AEW World Trios Titles two times together.
