Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan No. 1 Contender Match Set For Next Week

A number one contender’s match for the NXT Women’s Title is booked for next week’s NXT. It will have Kendal Grey taking on Kelani Jordan. The winner will go on the face the champion, Lola Vice at The Great American Bash at the end of the month.

In an in-ring segment on the June 2 episode of NXT, Jordan makes a point of never having a shot at the NXT Women’s Title. She says that when she went to TNA and became Knockouts Champion, she was ridiculed. When Vice went to AAA, however, and became one-half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, she has been praised.

As for Grey, she says that she has come into NXT and won big. This includes the Iron Survivor Challenge where she pinned both Jordan and Vice. Grey also believes she has unfinished business with Vice.

Both women want the gold and we will see which one gets an opportunity after they battle next week.
