WWE Hall of Famer Kane believes the company is sitting on a treasure trove of wrestling history. He recently shared an idea that could allow fans to experience it firsthand.

During an appearance on Barstool Sports’ Mostly Sports with Mark Titus and Brandon Walker, the former WWE Champion discussed the vast collection of memorabilia stored in WWE’s archives.

While reflecting on the company’s history, Kane suggested that much more could be done with the collection than simply preserving it behind closed doors.

The conversation offered a glimpse into what a future WWE Hall of Fame experience could potentially look like if the company ever decided to open its archives to the public.

Kane wants WWE to create a physical Hall of Fame museum

Speaking about WWE’s massive warehouse and archive system, Kane praised the work that has gone into preserving decades of wrestling history.

“They had all this stuff. They had like Gorgeous George’s robe back in the 1940s or 50s, but it was starting to fall apart, so they brought him in,” Kane said while discussing an archivist hired from the Smithsonian to preserve WWE’s collection.

He explained that the archive is now meticulously organized.

“It’s not just like a giant closet where they have stuff thrown. Now they have everything cross-referenced in certain spots.”

That level of preservation is exactly why Kane believes fans should eventually get access to it.

“Man, it’s amazing that I think that they should really open that up,” Kane said before agreeing with the idea of “a physical Hall of Fame.”

The WWE Hall of Famer also highlighted some of the unique artifacts currently preserved. These included every casket match coffin, WrestleMania memorabilia, hearses, and even the Corvette famously filled with cement by “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

For longtime fans, it would be a chance to walk down memory lane without taking a bump. Kane’s comments also align with recent calls from WWE stars for a tourism-friendly Hall of Fame museum featuring interactive exhibits and archival content.

For now, WWE’s collection remains behind the curtain, but Kane’s vision suggests there may be value in eventually letting fans step through it.
